PREVIEW 3RD NATIONAL WOMEN'S LEAGUE WEEK 1

After going  off season for close to seven (7) months, the National Women's League returns to 6 league centres across the country with interesting pairings, and a desire to dethrone defnding Champions, Hasaacas Ladies.

Hasaacas Ladies, have enjoyed lots of superiority in the league after winning the first two competitions at the expense of a more experienced side like Fabulous Ladies. This season's league promises to be more interesting if the financial support from the Ghana Football Association is something to go by.
Two times defending champions Hasaacas ladies will open the season with an away encounter at cape Coast where they test their title winning ambition against Lady Strikers, as one of the games expected to attract fans in the southern sector.
At the Winneba Advanced park, Soccer Interlectuals will seek to take newly promoted Police ladies to some soccer rudimentary exercise when the two teams play each other.
Final fixture in the southern sector will will be the game between Immigration Service Ladies, and Blessed Ladies at the Osu salem Park.
SOUTHERN SECTOR
CAPE COAST: LADY STRIKERS VS HASACAAS

The Sunyani Coronation Park will be the centre of attraction when homester Prisons tackle Dreamz Ladies, and finally at the Tamale School park, Back to battan Lepo Ladies, will welcome Ashtown Ladies in a match that will tell whether Lepo Ladies are wealthy returnees.

PUNDITS CORNER: AC DJOLIBA VS HEARTS OF OAK

Accra Hearts of Oak continue their journey on the Caf Confederation cup campaign, with just a step to the money zone.
Derek Dapaah gives his predictions ahead of that crucial encounter against AC Djoliba
DJOLIBA AC DE BAMAKO (Mali) VS ACCRA HEARTS OF OAK(Ghana)
Expectations are high on Accra Hearts of Oak to deliver after the exit of their fellow country club, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, and Coach Herbert Addo has promised to come
home with maximum points. With Hearts being the only club in the competition for the Ghana. Many fans or pundits will want to expect a long term participation in the competition
Djoliba is a club without high recognition in Africa but very dangerous at home in this elite competition. A team that recently eliminated Petrojet (Egypt) - one of the famous clubs on the continent by beating them 2:1 at home and drawing (0:0) far away in Egypt. Djoliba will be a tough task for Hearts than Wa All Stars. There is a problem for both clubs because they lack the ability of scoring in their various leagues although Djoliba lies at the 6th position in the Malian Premiere Division and have lost just 1 in their last 13 home games, which will make the game very difficult for Hearst of Oak,on the other hand, Accra Hearts of Oak lies at the 12th position in the First Capital Plus Premier League as well, and have also won only 2 of the3ir last 14 away games. This will play a major factor in the game, Hearts at its’ best is unstoppable and if a team will stop them in this competition, it won’t be Djoliba AC de Bamako, Mali. Hebert Addo must aim for an away goal far away in Bamako whether he loses or draw, I will prefer him starting Eric Kumi rather than Gilbert Fiamenyo. It is a tough task for  his players but the surprised they pulled in their last game against Olympique de Ngor in Senegal, can repeat itself by determination in the eyes of his players.
Dapaah predicts: Djoliba AC de Bamako 1:1 Accra Hearts of Oak
Match: Caf Confederation Cup
DJOLIBA AC DE BAMAKO (Mali)
Form: WWWDW
ACCRA HEARTS OF OAK(Ghana)
Form:  WWLWW
Venue: Stade Omnisports Modibo Keita – Bamako (Mali)
 Date: 17th April, 2015
 Time: 17:00GMT

GN BANK DOL WEEK 9 PREVIEW: CAN WA AFRICAN UNITED CONTINUE UNBEATEN RUN?

Week 9 of the GN Bank National Division One League may serve as the last round for Wa  African United’s unbeaten run in zone 1 when they clash with Techiman city at the Techiman  Park on Sunday.
In Zone One, League Leaders, Berekum Arsenal will set their sight on safeguarding their table  topping ambition, by welcoming Tamale All Stars, who will wish to move beyond the relegation  zone to the Golden City Park, while Real Tamale United, 10 points behind leaders (Berekum  Arsenal) challenge second-placed Berlin FC at the Techiman Park on Sunday.
At the Techiman Park on Saturday, Techiman City face a crucial test against undefeated, Wa  African United as the two clubs are separated by a point where as Tano Bofoakwa seek out for the maximum three points meeting Esperance at the Atebubu Park.
At the Goaso Park, the battle of strugglers takes place between third from bottom Unity FC and  fourth from bottom Bolga All Stars as both clubs are pegged at 8 points each and a win for Bolga  Man City elevates them from the bottom, playing host to Amanjande FC at Bolga.
At Tamale Annex on Saturday, Galaxy FC entertain Utrecht while Guan United battle Japekrom  FC of which a win favors Japekrom FC.

However, In Zone Two, at Winneba college complex on aturday, Windy Professionals’ optimism  in claiming their first ever victory face severe threat from Karela,  Same Saturday at the Baba  Yara Stadium, Deportivo stand to enjoy increase in points by tackling third-placed Elmina  Sharks.
On Sunday, at the  Cape Coast, Dwarfs would appear as wounded lions having lost to Starke FC  last weekend lionswhen they host Cornerstone.  The Bibiani park will have Wassaman United  who may want to find it onerous by running away with three points against second-placed Gold  Stars.
At the Baba Yara Stadium, Samartex’s sparkling form would be questioned by King Faisal while Dunkwa United might bounce back from last week’s defeat locking horns with proud united.  At Essipong, Eleven Wise could hand second consecutive defeats to Tarkwa United while last  club KFC Samosa, still in hunt for first triumph meet Starke FC.

In zone 3 on Saturday at the Tema Stadium, Nania FC will wish to redeem its lost form playing  guest to Amidaus Professionals.
At Ho, Hot Steel could make proceedings unbearable for promotion gunners, pure joy, in a game   that will be shown live on Fist Digital TV, but league leaders, dreams FC’s desire for premier league slot might be stifled visiting mid-table D’internatioal at the Tema stadium on Sunday
Tema Youth’s back to back victories may be over tackling fifth-placed King Solomon at Kwahu Praso.  Haven’t run over Okwahu United and Real Athletico, Mighty Jets could prolong their scintillating form against second-bottom Kotoku Royals at Teshie while a success for Danbort  puts them at par with their opponent, Okwahu United at Nungua.  Tema Real Athletico may have an easy task taking on strugglers, Sporting Mirren at Aquinas and at Akyem Takyiman, Istanbul clash with Prestige FC.
