Race for Premier League Football: The Dynamics are high in all GN Bank DOL zones

Techiman City continue to torment other teams in Zone One with their impressive displays and newly located form. Their unbeaten run has ascended to 14 and the counting still goes on for Micky Charles’ team. With 5 matches to spare, the story looks brighter for them since they will enjoy the luxury of playing 3 home matches (Tano Bofoakwa, Tamale All Stars and Berlin FC).  9 points could possibly add up to their point build-up, but more intriguingly, their away game at Bolga All Stars could go in their favor, all other things being equal.

Berekum Arsenal’s efforts gradually look to be waning. Last weekend’s defeat to Unity Stars at Goaso probably scuttle and shuttered their hopes of qualification. Moreover, the number of away matches that await Yakubu Moro’s side might make the scenario perilous for their campaign. This weekend’s fixture against Real Tamale United at Tamale Sports Stadium may hamper Arsenal’s progress. Real Tamale United, on the other hand are in pole position to earn qualification bearing any last minute hitches. The game between Real Tamale United and Berekum Arsenal this weekend calls for much thinking and strategizing from both teams, since any result comes as favorable for Leaders, Techiman City.

Furthermore, Former Premier League Participants, Dwarfs have made giant steps towards claiming back elite league status, but, although having opened a six point lead, face unshakable opposition from Elmina Sharks. Elmina Sharks’ lost to Proud United might have sparked lots of permutations and calculations among the larger fraternity of their supporters, but, the competition could turn otherwise should Dwarfs stumble on the road for qualification since they will visit Elmina Sharks and Gold Stars on Match Day 28 and 29 respectively. Windy Professionals will have their reputation to protect this weekend against Dwarfs, and is a must win for Windy Professionals as they lie in the demotion zone. Elmina Sharks versus Samartex and Wassaman United at Samreboi and Dompim respectively should be a headache for the Elmina based team.

Elsewhere in Zone Three, Nania FC’s victory over Dreams caught lots of attention coming to many as astonishing, since Dreams FC had not lost a game at home prior to that encounter and more importantly Nania’s current circumstances (lying in relegation zone). With five matches to end the season, Dreams FC’s matches to be played away demands further concentration and analysis. Matches against Prestige FC, Kotoku Royals and Okwahu United could prove difficult for their first taste of Premier League because of the positions of the abovementioned clubs. Also, Dreams FC have a tricky fixture against Pure Joy at Kweiman. Kotoku Royals, battling relegation could make the kitchen hot for Second Placed King Solomon this weekend, and that could to a large extent stifle the targets of King Solomon.

Techiman City, Mysterious Dwarfs and Dreams FC could find their way out from the various zones but the cutthroat chase given by Real Tamale United, Elmina Sharks and King Solomon could change the list for the 3 Zones.

Pundits Corner Ghana Premier league : Week 26 Predictions from Derek Dapaah

New Edubiase vrs Inter-Allies
Allies will be happy with their current position now because it wasn't part of their season's plans.their victory at home against heart of Lions at home was eeogh, I think they will be going down or must stand tall to pick a point(s) against Edubiase. Edubiase will be working hard to avoid relegation and this match will surely end with goal(s). I tip Edubiase to beat Allies despite not having a relativwly good performance in this season's league. Edubiase must must di all the can to pick the maximum points against Inter Allies in Obuasi.A win will be a massive boost for them. With Allies losng a game in their last five(5) matches, Edubiase has a real game on Wednesday. Allies have nothing to lose in this game. Edubiase to beat them by a goal to nil.

Dapaah predicts: New Edubiase 1:0 Inter-Allies

Form guide: New Edubiase: LWDWL: 12th position
Inter-Allies: WWWLW: 4th position

Medeama SC vrs WAFA
Medeama knows that they ain't too safe to maintain in the league so they need a point or more to shield themselves from falling to the red zone(relegation). WAFA can do something but certainingly not in this fixture and I think they might even lose a lot of points in their remaining fixtures at home. With both clubs to be found in the 1st-10th position, they will be looking forward to maintain that and I see Medeama going at it against WAFA.

Dapaah predicts: Medeama SC 2:0 WAFA

Form guide: Medeama SC: DDWLD- 9th position
WAFA: WLWLD- 6th position

Aduana Stars vrs Hasaacas
With Aduana knowing that Ashgold can lose their game against Bechem. They will do everything to pick the three (3) maximum points to lead the log or have the same points with Ashgold, if Ashgold loses. Hasaacas needs to fight for a point and nothing else or they will fall again from their position. I hope it ends in a draw to reduce the pressure on Ashgold but it's impossible for me and Hasaacas. I go for a narrow win for Aduana but Hasaacas can give me what I seeked for, draw.

Dapaah predicts: Aduana Stars 1:0 Hasaacas

Form guide: Aduana Stars: LWLWW- 2nd position
Hasaacas: WDLWD- 7th position

Heart of Lions vrs BA United
Lions need this point more than B A to survive for premier league football next season. I know BA will be playing for playing sake and won't be giving Lions tough times. With BA relegated, any club that plays BA will win and won't think of drawing so Hearts of Lions will start the journey for others to follow. I urge Lions to move from that position to a place that will help them to stay in the league.

Dapaah peedicts: Heart of Lions 2:0 B A United

Form guide: Heart of Lion: LWLWL- 13th position
BA United: DLDLL-16th position

Kotoko vrs Wa All Stars
A moral booster came last weekend when they beat Hearts at the Accra Sports Stadium. Kotoko will do everything to beat Wa All Stars come wednesday. All Stars are also safe because they won't lose all their remaining matches, but they will surely go down in this fixture, unless they cause upsets if they run through the entire game. Kotoko has just won two (2) games in their last five (5) and will be hoping to make it three (3). I tip them to win this.

Dapaah predicts: Kotoko 2:1 Wa All Stars

Form guide: Kotoko: DLLWW- 8th position
Wa All Stars: DDWLW- 5th position

Liberty vrs Hearts of Oak
Will Liberty add more salts to Hearts injuries? Its been one of the worse seasons ever for the Phobian club (only a victory in their last 5 matches). Now, smaller fixtures will be tough games for Hearts because of their poor league form. But Liberty will worry them well with them playing at home too. Hearts were supposed to win the fixture before this but gave up and committed a lot of mistakes. They need not to repeat this mistakes against Liberty or else their destiny will be in other clubs. I tip them to grab something, whether win or draw but will prefer win. Liberty will hold them well because, if they also loses; something might happen to were they are lying.

Dapaah predicts: Liberty 1:1 Hearts of Oak

Form guide: Liberty: LDLWL- 10th position
Hearts of Oak: LLWLL- 15th position

Great Olympics vrs Berekum Chelsea
Olympics need this point as well as their opponent. Olympics with a victory will lift them from the zone and also, Chelsea with a victory they close the gap and climb to 2nd place. Chelsea have had an impressive run in their last five (5) matches, despite drawing last weekend. I tip Olympics to beat Chelsea after picking a good result last week against Hasaacas.

Dapaah predicts: Great Olympics 1:0 Berekum Chelsea

Form guide: Great Olympics: LWDWD- 14th position
Berekum Chelsea: WWWLD- 3rd position

Bechem United vs AshantiGold
This match may likely see the end to the 26 week lead held by Ashantigold in the league, this is becuase the dynamics do not look good for Ashantigold with Aduana Stars playing at home, any slip by Ashantigold will see Aduana assuming the too spot, Bechem United are the league's 3rd best gome club having lost only one game, while Ashantigold remain the secind best travellers in the league, The analysis does not favor the miners in this game, yet it is possible for thethem to pick a point from this fixture.

Dapaah predicts Bechem United 2-2 Ashantigold

Form guide: Bechem United: WLLWD- 11th position
Ashanti Gold: WLDLW- 1st potsition
