Pundits Corner Ghana Premier league : Week 26 Predictions from Derek Dapaah

New Edubiase vrs Inter-Allies
Allies will be happy with their current position now because it wasn't part of their season's plans.their victory at home against heart of Lions at home was eeogh, I think they will be going down or must stand tall to pick a point(s) against Edubiase. Edubiase will be working hard to avoid relegation and this match will surely end with goal(s). I tip Edubiase to beat Allies despite not having a relativwly good performance in this season's league. Edubiase must must di all the can to pick the maximum points against Inter Allies in Obuasi.A win will be a massive boost for them. With Allies losng a game in their last five(5) matches, Edubiase has a real game on Wednesday. Allies have nothing to lose in this game. Edubiase to beat them by a goal to nil.

Dapaah predicts: New Edubiase 1:0 Inter-Allies

Form guide: New Edubiase: LWDWL: 12th position
Inter-Allies: WWWLW: 4th position

Medeama SC vrs WAFA
Medeama knows that they ain't too safe to maintain in the league so they need a point or more to shield themselves from falling to the red zone(relegation). WAFA can do something but certainingly not in this fixture and I think they might even lose a lot of points in their remaining fixtures at home. With both clubs to be found in the 1st-10th position, they will be looking forward to maintain that and I see Medeama going at it against WAFA.

Dapaah predicts: Medeama SC 2:0 WAFA

Form guide: Medeama SC: DDWLD- 9th position
WAFA: WLWLD- 6th position

Aduana Stars vrs Hasaacas
With Aduana knowing that Ashgold can lose their game against Bechem. They will do everything to pick the three (3) maximum points to lead the log or have the same points with Ashgold, if Ashgold loses. Hasaacas needs to fight for a point and nothing else or they will fall again from their position. I hope it ends in a draw to reduce the pressure on Ashgold but it's impossible for me and Hasaacas. I go for a narrow win for Aduana but Hasaacas can give me what I seeked for, draw.

Dapaah predicts: Aduana Stars 1:0 Hasaacas

Form guide: Aduana Stars: LWLWW- 2nd position
Hasaacas: WDLWD- 7th position

Heart of Lions vrs BA United
Lions need this point more than B A to survive for premier league football next season. I know BA will be playing for playing sake and won't be giving Lions tough times. With BA relegated, any club that plays BA will win and won't think of drawing so Hearts of Lions will start the journey for others to follow. I urge Lions to move from that position to a place that will help them to stay in the league.

Dapaah peedicts: Heart of Lions 2:0 B A United

Form guide: Heart of Lion: LWLWL- 13th position
BA United: DLDLL-16th position

Kotoko vrs Wa All Stars
A moral booster came last weekend when they beat Hearts at the Accra Sports Stadium. Kotoko will do everything to beat Wa All Stars come wednesday. All Stars are also safe because they won't lose all their remaining matches, but they will surely go down in this fixture, unless they cause upsets if they run through the entire game. Kotoko has just won two (2) games in their last five (5) and will be hoping to make it three (3). I tip them to win this.

Dapaah predicts: Kotoko 2:1 Wa All Stars

Form guide: Kotoko: DLLWW- 8th position
Wa All Stars: DDWLW- 5th position

Liberty vrs Hearts of Oak
Will Liberty add more salts to Hearts injuries? Its been one of the worse seasons ever for the Phobian club (only a victory in their last 5 matches). Now, smaller fixtures will be tough games for Hearts because of their poor league form. But Liberty will worry them well with them playing at home too. Hearts were supposed to win the fixture before this but gave up and committed a lot of mistakes. They need not to repeat this mistakes against Liberty or else their destiny will be in other clubs. I tip them to grab something, whether win or draw but will prefer win. Liberty will hold them well because, if they also loses; something might happen to were they are lying.

Dapaah predicts: Liberty 1:1 Hearts of Oak

Form guide: Liberty: LDLWL- 10th position
Hearts of Oak: LLWLL- 15th position

Great Olympics vrs Berekum Chelsea
Olympics need this point as well as their opponent. Olympics with a victory will lift them from the zone and also, Chelsea with a victory they close the gap and climb to 2nd place. Chelsea have had an impressive run in their last five (5) matches, despite drawing last weekend. I tip Olympics to beat Chelsea after picking a good result last week against Hasaacas.

Dapaah predicts: Great Olympics 1:0 Berekum Chelsea

Form guide: Great Olympics: LWDWD- 14th position
Berekum Chelsea: WWWLD- 3rd position

Bechem United vs AshantiGold
This match may likely see the end to the 26 week lead held by Ashantigold in the league, this is becuase the dynamics do not look good for Ashantigold with Aduana Stars playing at home, any slip by Ashantigold will see Aduana assuming the too spot, Bechem United are the league's 3rd best gome club having lost only one game, while Ashantigold remain the secind best travellers in the league, The analysis does not favor the miners in this game, yet it is possible for thethem to pick a point from this fixture.

Dapaah predicts Bechem United 2-2 Ashantigold

Form guide: Bechem United: WLLWD- 11th position
Ashanti Gold: WLDLW- 1st potsition

Pundits Corner: Derek Dapaah Predicts week 25 Ghana Premier League

We enter a very critical moment of the first Capital Plus Premier League with team jostling for positions both on the top and down of the league log, this week we have a regional derby, and he super clash match. Accra Hearts of Oak take on rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko, while B A United welcome Aduana Stars, Once more yours truly Derek Dapaah makes his prediction ahead of the matches

Ashantigold vs Liberty

Ashgold must do everything to win this encounter. What is coach Bash doing? From eleven (11) points to two (2) points gap,  very abysmal. Ashgold must beat Liberty 3-4 goals to make a mark to win the league. Liberty are lying at their usual place when every season ends so if they lose it's nothing because no relegation hunt. I urge Ashgold to beat Liberty any how to maintain or extend the lead if Chelsea loses. Open free gate, let the fans rally behind the clubs or let the stadium be filled with the yellow and black colors to create tension and fear to their opponent (Liberty) so that they fall to their feet in the game. Obuasi football fans should troop to the stadium to support their traditional club to get a trophy for them.
 Dapaah predicts: Ashgold 2:0 Liberty
Form guide: Ashgold: LWLDL- 1st position
Liberty: LLDLW- 8th position

Berekum Chelsea vrs Medeama

Can they top the league come this weekend? A big "NO" and they should forget it. Chelsea to draw with Medeama this weekend. With Chelsea risking everything to top the league, Medeama will be doing so to avoid the relegation virus because where they are lying means they can be captured by the relegation virus. It will be a nice game with Chelsea losing only a fixture in their last five (5) games, Medeama has only won a match in their last five (5) games drawing two (2) and losing the rest (2) which is awful. This season have been Medeama's bad season but to avoid relegation and get things well next season. With both clubs in need of the points and Chelsea having the better off in this fixture despite a nice league form, I will go for a point split.
Dapaah predicts: Berekum Chelsea 1:1 Medeama SC
Form guide: Berekum Chelsea: DWWWL- 2nd
Medeama SC: LDDWL- 9th position

WAFA vrs Bechem United

WAFA surely knows that a defeat will send them back out of the top 4 and it won't be nothing to them but it will be a great achievement if the finish in the top 4. Will Bechem blame someone if they go back to Division 1? Surely, yes. They started the campaign well on a brighter note but all of a sudden they have fallen short of the joy they had in the second round. I feel very sad for them because they are the next counterpart to
follow BA United if they lose this game and I will tell you the next club to follow them. WAFA will beat Bechem. I told you that WAFA will surely lose point(s) when playing away but not at SOGAKOPE. any team will get it if the team goes there.
Dapaah predicts: WAFA 2:0 Bechem United
Form guide: WAFA: LWLWL- 4th position
Bechem United: LWLLW- 12th position

Wa All Stars vrs New Edubiase

I think Edubiase already knows that, they will be losing this fixture that was why they beat Hearts of Oak last week but another defeat they will be going back to the relegation zone. Wa All Stars has nothing, I mean nothing in this fixture or league because they are safe despite any club can go to relegation, at 6th position you can't fall to 13th. I urge them to beat Edubiase to excel at where they are lying at the moment. I know Edubiase stand tall on this encounter with them losing only a game in their last five (5) fixture whiles Wa All Stars have only won a game in their last five (5) games so it's opposite forms. I will go for a win for Wa All Stars in this encounter
Dapaah predicts: Wa All Stars 2:1 New Edubiase
Form guide: Wa All Stars: LDDWL- 6th position
New Edubiase: WLWDW- 10th position

Inter-Allies vrs Heart of Lions

Lions to remain at the 13th position or to the 14th position because the fact is there, they will be surely be beaten at Tema. Allies have only lost a game in this second round and they are my BEST club in the second round. Their defeat came in hands of the Dormaa boys, Aduana far away in Dormaa so it is no news but just that they recorded their first defeat. Lions knows that their form in the second round have been shambolic so what they have to do in the remaining fixture is that; pick a point away and win at home but it's not going to happen this weekend against a well-organized club, Allies who haven't lost a game at home in the second round. Allies to beat Lions.
Dapaah predicts: Inter-Allies 1:0 Heart of Lions
Form guide: Inter-Allies: WWWWL- 5th position
Heart of Lions: DLWLW- 13th position

BA United vrs Aduana Stars
Add caption

BA could use Aduana's away form to beat them and grab a first victory for a long time. Aduana knows that they themselves haven't been good at away and will also be looking forward to make this fixture one of the surviving away win because BA are already relegated. They can use this fixture to revive something at their side. I will tell them to win this just to make their fans happy because Aduana are awful club when playing away. They are only good when playing at Dormaa only. I urge them to win this by a lone goal, but Aduana Stars could also win from away in a long time
Dapaah predicts: BA United 0:1 Aduana Stars
Form guide: BA United: DDLDL- 16th position
Aduana Stars: WLWLW- 3rd position

Hasaacas vrs Olympics

With Olympics just losing one (1) game in their last five (5) matches same as Hasaacas, we will have a game to watch at Sekondi. Hasaacas will surely stand to beat Olympics this Sunday to get into the top four (4) whiles Olympics will be trying to avoid relegation because where they are now on the league log. Olympics to give everything out for this game. Hasaacas must soak in the pressure coming and counter them rather but if they open up, it will cause a cricket score line this weekend in this fixture. I see Hasaacas beating them no matter what happens.
Dapaah predicts: Hasaacas 2:1 Olympics
Form guide: Hasaacas: WWDLW- 7th position
Olympics: WLWDW- 16th position

Accra Hearts of Oak vrs Kumasi Asante Kotoko

Ghana's version of the El-Clasico. With Hearts winning only a fixture in their last five (5) fixtures, I urge them to do something in this game. If Hearts loses, they remain in the relegation zone or if they win they are out of the zone but not fully and  if their opponent loses they drop to the zone area or if they win, enters into the top 10. We really have a game to watch this weekend. Kumasi fans, Accra fans get your money and let's move to the stadium to watch this nice encounter. I urge Hearts to beat Kotoko but will be happy if it ends in a draw.
Dapaah predicts: Hearts of Oak 2:1 Kotoko
Form guide: Hearts of Oak: DLLWL- 14th position
Kumasi Asante Kotoko: WDLLW- 11th position

Derek Dapaah's Prediction of First Capital Plus Premier League week 24

The stakes continue to be high in the First Capital Plus Premier League as we prepare for a photo finish with week 24 matches, once again teams like Ashgold, and Berekum Chelsea will seek to consolidate their position on the top.

Kotoko vrs Ashanti Gold
My match of the week. AshGold needs the point(s) as well as Kotoko. We will have a real game to watch this sunday. Ashgold have the full advantage to win this encounter despite drawing at home against Edubiase. They need to put everything out to secure the three points. Kotoko are in a real mess now, losing some unnecessary points against the weaker clubs. so how much more can they trigger a point against Ashgold. I stand behind Ashgold to beat Kotoko or else that is the end of the top spot. The gap have been closed to two (2) points and I think they don't have to afford to  lose another point(s). Kotoko fans should forget being in the top 4 or 5 this season in the First Capital Plus Premier League (FCPPL) but rather think of avoiding relegation. Ashgold to beat them.
Dapaah predicts: Kotoko 1:2 Ashanti Gold
Form guide: Kotoko: LWDLL- 12th position
Ashanti Gold: WLWLD- 1st position

Aduana vrs Inter Allies
The unbeaten club to go down at Dormaa? Allies have been an awesome club this second round and they need some credits. I see them giving Aduana tough task this weekend but can they stand them throughout the entire 90 minutes? Maybe. Aduana "always" score at home so I think there will be a goal or goals in this fixture but can't tell it will be going for them or Allies because Allies are unbeaten and Aduana are good at home. I will choose to split points and goals for both club because it's a difficult task to go over one of this club due to the advantages and disadvantages in this fixture.
Dapaah predicts: Aduana Star 1:1 Inter Allies
Form guide: Aduana Stars: LWLWL- 6th position
Inter Allies: DWWWW- 4th position
Heart of Lions vrs Wa All Stars
Lions need to get things back or else they are saying goodbye to the league next season. The final day of the season will be a cracker but I have a feel that Lions will bounce back after being trashed by Hearts of Oak. Wa All Stars has nothing to lose so far this season because they lie in a pole position to grab the fourth spot after the end of the season if only they don't lose points at home. Lions to give everything out to grab the vital points, draw won't be a good results for them so I will urge their fans to be behind them than criticising them. I will go for a whooping score line against Wa All Stars
Dapaah predicts: Heart of Lions 3:1 Wa All Stars
Form guide: Heart of Lions: LDLWL- 14th position
Wa All Stars: WLDDW- 5th position

Liberty vrs WAFA
We will have a "tiki taka" game to watch this weekend. It is the battle of the young lads to showcase their talents but will Liberty beat them with experience? 90 minutes will give us the full answer but I personally will go for a draw. WAFA play a well possessive football as well as Liberty so who will be the master? Liberty will stand them but can use their experience to beat them in possession. Not a lot can be given on this fixture due to their style of play. WAFA loses this match, they aren't going to relegation but they will drop from their position and I think their motif is to be in the league so that is what they are fighting now.
 Dapaah predicts: Liberty 2:2 WAFA
Form guide: Liberty: WLLDL- 9th position
WAFA: WLWLW- 3rd position

Hasaacas vrs BA United
BA knows it already. This match can never end in a draw, never and ever. Sekondi? Hasaacas will massacre them to move up a bit. I said it and will keep saying it, BA United should start training their young players for next season's Division if they want to come back next two season or else they should forget the U-turn to the league. Hasaacas to sin this calmly with no struggles. I'm not dumping BA United but they can't stand the clubs that are on form, simple. Hasaacas do the work for your supporters, it's an easy fixture for them because BA are already relegated. Hasaacas to massacre them.
Dapaah predicts: Hasaacas 3:0 BA United
Form guide: Hasaacas: LWWDL- 8th position
BA United: LDDLD- 16th position

New Edubiase vrs Hearts of Oak
Oh Hearts! Hearts will lose this game for sure despite they won against Lions with a whopping score line 4:0. Edubiase are also among the struggling relegation clubs who want to avoid the drop so they need to start that now against the clubs when playing home. the fact that Hearts won doesn't mean they are back to winning ways so the fans should get it clear. They are now avoiding impossible relegation battle and they started it against Lions but it doesn't mean they can do it against Edubiase or they should prove my critics wrong.
Dapaah predicts: New Edubiase 2:1 Hearts of Oak
Form guide: New Edubiase: LWLWD- 10th position
Hearts of Oak: DDLLW- 11th position

Olympics vrs Medeama SC

Olympics are doing what they can do to avoid relegation but it's not easy at all for them because of their fixtures left (Hasaacas-away, Berekum Chelsea-home, Aduana-away, WAFA-home, Lions-away and Ashgold-home). Medeama have been all that impressive going away this season so it won't be a difficult task for Olympics at all cost. They should do everything to beat Medeama to start their survival series. Dapaah predicts:Olympics 1:0 Medeama SC
Form guide: Olympics: LWLWD: 15th position
Medeama SC: WLDDW: 7th pos

Derek Dapaah's Prediction of First Capital Plus Premier League Week 22

Its midweek time in the First Capital Plus Premier League, with match day 23 lingering around, stakes are really high at this stage, yet Still Derek Dapaah takes the opportunity to do some predictions, you can have your say.

BA United vrs Great Olympics

Great Olympics are doing everything they can do to avoid relegation but I see them going down no matter what they do due the clubs they are battling with. BA United know that they are already relegated and now, they play for fun because whether win or lose, they have nothing to achieve. Olympics surprised me when they beat Bechem last week and I'm tipping them to beat BA come Wednesday. Olympics to win this by a lone goal to nil.
Dapaah predicts: BA United 0:1 Great Olympics
Form guide: BA United: DLDDL- 16th position
Great Olympics: LLWLW- 15th position

WAFA vrs Kotoko

WAFA will be jubilating in this fixture because Kotoko is no more a threat. I said some time ago that as far as they aren't going for relegation they have nothing to lose when they lose a game because they will win at home. Kotoko is in a big mess and they might concede the same goals they did against Chelsea. The Kotoko fans are yet to rise up in numbers to attack their executives because many defeats will come. Win the FA Cup and fall between the first 7 clubs in the league and the fans will understand the mess but this fixture, Kotoko is losing with lower goals. WAFA won't lose anything if it ends in a draw but not the best result for Kotoko. Comfortable win for WAFA.
Dapaah predicts: WAFA 2:1 Kotoko
Form guide: WAFA: DWLWL- 4th position
Kotoko: WLWDL- 11th position

Berekum Chelsea vrs Liberty

Despite closing the gap to four(4),it doesn't mean they can over-take Ashgold. Chelsea are doing well but don't forget they will have some terrible away matches to play. Liberty haven't been good at away recently and I think they will be losing this fixture. Chelsea have had only one (1) defeat in their last five (5) games and they are really fighting for a second place, because they should just forget the first place. Liberty drew last weekend it seems fatigue is setting up on the players which will affect them in the coming fixtures if they don't do anything about it. Liberth to lose this match.
Dapaah predicts: Berekum Chelsea 2:1 Liberty
Form guide: Berekum Chelsea: LWDWW- 2nd
Liberty: DWLLD- 8th

Medeama SC vrs Bechem United

Medeama will surely hit at it against Bechem. They are taking all the three points because Bechem knows that Medeama will be using them as a preparation club towards the FA cup final. Medeama to go all out to pick their points and Bechem to go home with nothing. Bechem knows that this second round they haven't been good when going away, hard to pick three points or a point against their opponents. Medeama to move up on the league log after their victory this Wednesday.
Dapaah predicts: Medeama SC 2:0 Bechem United
Form guide: Medeama SC: LWLDD- 9th position
Bechem United: DWLWL- 12th position

Inter Allies vrs Sekondi Hasaacas

Hasaacas will be asking themselves a lot of questions saying Allies are the only club to remain unbeaten in the second round in seven (7) games and how can we beat them?  Allies have been superb and they deserve all the praise. At Tema they will surely beat Hasaacas no matter what happens so Hasaacas must be fighting for draw or else they will be conceding more than a goal. In-form club doesn't lose at home and I'm seeing them winning this game fantastically. It will be a nice game to watch because Allies unbeaten in their last 5 games grabbing 11points whiles Hasaacas have won three (3) games drawing one (1) and losing one (1), also grabbing 10points so we have a game to watch this weekend.
Dapaah predicts: Inter Aliies 2:0 Sekondi Hasaacas
Form guide: Inter Allies: DDWWW-5th position
Sekondi Hasaacas: WLWWD-7th position

Wa All Stars vrs Aduana Stars

This fixture has no say because Aduana will lose and it's a must. Aduana have lost their last two (2) away games and this will be registered as the third (3). Wa All Stars will be relaxing in this fixture with no pressure on them because they know perfectly well that Aduana aren't threat when playing away. Wa All Stars will be taking advantage of this fixture to move top of the league a step forward which will see Aduana falling backwards.
Dapaah predicts: Wa All Stars 1:0 Aduana Stars
Form guide: Wa All Stars: WWLDD- 6th position
Aduana Stars: WLWLW- 3rd position

AshantGold vrs New Edubiase

With Ashgold on the verge of lifting the league, they won't be losing at home. They lost last weekend and people are saying they might drop down to second place which is impossible. Even if they lose all their away games the second place team won't win all their away games so it's simple they (Ashgold) are champions. Edubiase knows that this fixture is a tough one because playing with the league leader who lost last weekend won't be an easy game. With both team experiencing the same league form Ashgold has a better chance to put Edubiase to the sword by beating them at home. Edubiase are not playing well so I doubt whether they can stand Ashanti Gold.
Dapaah predicts: Ashanti Gold 2:0 New Edubiase
Form guide: Ashgold: DWLWL- 1st position
New Edubiase: DLWLW- 10th position

Hearts of Oak vrs Heart of Lions

With only two (2) points separating the two clubs, we will have a real game to watch this week 23. Hearts haven't won any game in their last five (games) picking two points only (2/15) which is very abysmal to a club like Hearts of Oak. Lions have the upper hand to let the mysteries continue for the Phobia fans this week. Can Hearts record their 1st victory after a long time? Time will tell and if only they play well as a team. Lions can take advantage of their form to capitalize on it or else they will be struggling for relegation fever. The two teams have not been impressive in the second round, and I predict a point split.
Dapaah predicts: Hearts of Oak 1:1 Heart of Lions
Form guide: Hearts of Oak: LDDLL- 14th position

Heart of Lions: DLDLW- 13th position
