Pundits Corner: Derek Dappah's prediction of the First Capital Plus Premier League

The Boys are gradually being separated from the men as the First Capital Plus Premier League goes into week 19 this weekend, and as usual, Derek Dapaah predicts the outcome of these matches which includes two regional derbies.
Medeama SC vrs Heart of Lions
A bouncing back game for Medeama SC after losing in their mid- week fixture. I think Medeama knows that they can't get the results at away but can get it at home so they will do all it takes to grab this point against Lions. Lions had a good away run during the first round but this second round it hasn't been encouraging at all. I don't see Lions giving Medeama SC a tough time at Tarkwa so I will go for Medeama SC victory.
Dapaah predicts: Medeam SC 2:0 Heart of Lions

Ashanti Gold vrs BA United
One of the unbeaten clubs in the second round and they are looking like worthy champions but not champions now. AshantiGold are a real good side at home and BA United ain't pulling to my satisfaction as I thought it will go well for them in the second round. I think they have taken themselves out of the league come next season because the results ain't coming. Ashgold has no excuses if they lose this game to a weak BA United side this Sunday. B A have nothing to achieve at Obuasi so sorry for their fans. Dapaah predicts: Ashanti Gold 2:0 BA United

WAFA vrs Hasaacas
WAFA's victory at Sogakope. No one can stand them at home so I don't see Hasaacas giving them problems. WAFA play as they want at home and score when they feel so how will Hasaacas cope with it. Hasaacas ain't a bad side but they can't stand it at Sogakope. I can't go against WAFA at any level due to style of play, a real Academy team.
Dapaah predicts: WAFA 2:1 Hasaacas

Wa All Stars vrs Olympics
Wrong fixture at a wrong time for Olympics. They will attack Metro again in this fixture because another defeat to follow and relegation fever will start catching them. Wa All Stars have proved it to me that at home their opponent's victory is a draw and Hearts of Oak game is an example of it, so Olympics should be ready for another defeat at Wa. I have nothing to go against Wa All Stars at home this time, unless there is a decline in the home run.
Dapaah predicts: Wa All Stars 2:0 Olympic

Bechem United vs New Edubiase
Good at home vrs the in-form midfielders. Bechem are good at home, no doubt about that but can it run towards Edubiase who has good midfielders in the league as at now.  New Edubiase will give everything out to make this game end in a draw but BECHEM will be a difficult task for them to grab a point(s), unless they run throughout the game and get a strategy that will map to Bechem's own. I see Bechem grabbing what belongs to them after 90minutes, unless Edubiase do what I said earlier on. A nice game to watch far away in Bechem. The fans should rally behind their clubs this weekend to get what they need because Edubiase are pulling out something for their fans as well as Bechem have really done well this season.
Dapaah predicts: Bechem United 2:1 New Edubiase

Berekum Chelsea vs Aduana
The chasers battle- Both clubs are chasing Ashgold and the second place. We have a game to watch. It is going to be a nice game to watch, I urge every fan or football enthusiast to go to the stadium to watch this lively game. Both clubs will go at it and I will go for a point split, despite Berekum Chelsea's form at home but bad away run from home. Aduana will also be looking forward to close the five(5) points between them and the league leaders and maintain the three(3) points between them and Chelsea so we really have a game to watch this weekend. As I said, I will go for a point split, unless Aduana does their things again (plays very abysmal) at away.
Dapaah predicts: Berekum Chelsea 2:2 Aduana

Liberty Professional 1:1 Kumasi Asante Kotoko
Woow, what a game to watch because Kotoko will be looking forward to make it two out of two in Accra (defeated Olympics and beat Liberty Sunday) but it won't be easy at all. Liberty is unbeaten (2 draws and 1 win) in the second round and will continue with the run and make it a record. Kotoko were fantastic against Olympics and is the beginning of a new era they were looking for? Only Sunday's fixture will tell but I see that match ending in a draw but Liberty can turn things around.
Dapaah predicts: Liberty Professional 1:1 Kumasi Asante Kotoko

Accra Hearts of Oak vrs Inter Allies
It is hard to find out what's wrong with Hearts whether tactics or fatigue. They ain't putting up their best in this league and I think the board is not thinking of a top four(4) finish but will get a domestic trophy for the fans. Allies can trouble Hearts well with their nice away form but if only the players will stand to the occasion. I see this match being an entertaining fixture to produce a narrow victory for one club. Allies weren't all that good against Ashgold at home in the mid-week fixture and Hearts will be aiming to bounce back after their shambolic performance against Wa All Stars. I go for a Phobia victory come what- may.
Dapaah predicts: Accra Hearts of Oak 1:0 Inter Allies
